Hans Nissens

Hans Nissens built "cultuurweb.be" (Culture web) and the "cultuurdatabank.be" (Cultural database in Belgium), managing a team of 10 people and a comprehensive network of partners. Cultuurweb.be and cultuurdatabank.be are initiatives of the Flemish government to map and support all cultural initiatives in Flanders, Belgium. Hans has founded Oxynade (www.oxynade.com), a company which eliminates the need of in-house editorial effort to keep a database up to date by using advanced and automated content aggregation technologies ready for use in offline and online publications. Hans brings in-depth cultural knowledge, required to build the most complete inventory of events in the world. Hans holds a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Ghent, Belgium.
